Munich 23rd-28th of November 2025

GREEK SCHOOL IN GERMANY

At the Greek High School of Munich “Konstantinos Caratheodoris”, the last transnational mobility of the European Erasmus+ program “Revitalizing Lives: Migrant Students’ Journey to Inclusion” was completed with great success during the week of November 24–28. During the week, the school hosted 10 students from Poland and Italy —five from each country— who stayed with families of their Greek classmates, promoting meaningful cultural interaction. At the same time, it welcomed teachers from Poland, Italy and Turkey, who participated in the educational and collaborative activities of the mobility.

The theme “Discovering Our Roots” was the central axis of a rich and multidimensional program of activities, which aimed at understanding the identity, history and common points of reference of young people in Europe. During the week, the following took place:

• Creative workshops

• Roundtable discussions

• Competitions

• Exchanges of good teaching practices between teachers from the participating countries

• Visits to historical sites, with the highlight being the visit to the Memorial Trial in Nuremberg

• Guided tours of the city of Munich and cultural awareness activities

• Joint recreational activities, which strengthened the bonds between students and teachers.

The week ended in a climate of cooperation, enthusiasm and mutual respect. The students exchanged experiences, cultural elements and created friendships that transcend borders, while the teachers had the opportunity to exchange ideas and practices for a modern, inclusive education. Special mention deserves the parents of our students, whom we warmly thank for opening their homes and generously offering hospitality to the children who visited us, contributing decisively to the warm and humane atmosphere of mobility.
